According to Robert:

Aperol was first introduced in 1919 at the first "Padova Fiere", a trade exhibition held in Padova Italy. Here in the US we know it better as "Padua", which was the setting for Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew". So I named this drink after the lead character "Petrucio".
