Starting in the late 80's, a new cocktail was gradually making an appearance in bars across the US, it was the Cosmopolitan.
Basic Recipe
Cosmopolitan
- 1 1/2 ounces of citron vodka
- 1/2 ounce Cointreau
- 1/4 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce cranberry juice
Garnish: Flamed orange peel
Directions Shake all the ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the flamed orange peel.
